Thanks to all who took time away from their busy work load to attend the PDI on 26 March!  It was an uplifting and enlightening event for all who attended.

ASMC UTAH CHAPTER

Welcome to our Home page!

We currently have 182 members, 39 of them are CDFM certified and many more have already passed some of the modules including the acquisition portion of those exams.  Many are preparing through our chapter's encouraging tutorial program.  We have a committee organized to help you achieve that goal.

We hold a FABULOUS local PDI each year that is unmatched by any chapter our size.  We have exceptional instructors and was honored to have Dr. Morrin as a keynote luncheon speaker.  We had lots of giveaways and raised lots of money for our scholarship and charity.

We have a selfless community service committee and have donated many hours and dollars to causes that are dear to our hearts.  Our chairman has been nominated for many prestigious awards for his service.

We have a recognition program where one member is featured at the monthly luncheon where their supervisor and commander is invited to attend.

Our program committee organizes luncheons, social events, and training.  We have a newsletter that was recognized at last year's PDI.  This year we will award 5 college scholarships, and help at least three members attend the National PDI.

We have a lot of great committees, lots of great events, lots of opportunities to learn and to mentor, and most of all we have a lot of fun.  Come join us.

 This year the Utah chapter of the American Society of Military Comptrollers, a professional organization at Hill AFB, is offering multiple academic scholarships worth up to $1,000 each.  Applicants must be a current ASMC Utah Chapter member (military, civilian, or contractor), a member’s spouse, or their dependant.  Applications must be received by 30 March 2012. Mission Statement: To promote education, training and professional development in all aspects of military comptrollership.

ASMC was established as the Society of Military Accountants and Statisticians in 1948 in San Antonio, TX, and was open only to active duty officers. Since then, ASMC has expanded to include all DoD and Coast Guard Financial Management personnel. In 1991 the national headquarters was opened in Alexandria, VA, and currently serves a growing professional society of 18,000 members.
